Wings are for Flying

Sometimes we find ourselves in a relationship, whether business or personal, position or situation where there no longer serves us purpose. Meaning, you've cried your last tear, you've accepted that you cannot change the noun, or you no longer wish to be bombarded with the noun in your life. Hopefully, you've learned or came to the realization of the reality with everything. One thing you must understand is through every tear, struggle, moment of uncertainty, your wings were preparing for this moment. It might seem a little scary or maybe a little fun... Whatever it is you feel, just be confident with knowing, your wings are ready to fly!

"Love"

So Valentines is coming up and some of you dread this holiday. No worries though... Once upon a time I dreaded too. I dreaded because people would brag about the whole chocolates, balloons, hearts, pinks, loves, sweets and charming gentleman and / or loved ones in their life and it made me feel uncomfortable because I was experiencing a rocky moment in my life. 

Okay so I remember this one particular Valentines Day, when I literally faked-forced my beautiful smile. I mean, directly underneath my pearly whites were feelings of PAIN, HURT, I'm talkin' SORROW. Like one wrong word would totally bust my smile into a loud cry. 

Anyway... I went to go buy lunch for a friend of mine and when I stepped up to the register the cashier said, "That man paid for your meal." He pointed to the man walking out the door. It was the most bizarre experience ever because all I saw was the back of a head and a shadow before he disappeared. As I walked to my car, I expected the mysterious man to come up and talk to me. I mean after all, "Ain't no man gonna pay for your meal and not get something from it, right?!" Wrong! That was not a man ya'll, that was God! 

Until this day, it still brings a little tear to my eye because it was that moment that I learned, LOVE comes from within us! It's not about who or what you receive on Valentines Day, but it's how you feel about yourself everyday! I'm a beautiful person with great qualities, but that day I didn't believe that about myself. I'm sharing this moment with you not to push a religion down your throat, but to encourage you and let you know that LOVE-- Never leaves you. Love pumps your heart second by second... Love wakes you up every single day to show you something new... Love is waiting on you--to love you too. The moment you truly value yourself is the moment others will too. If Valentines Day matters, then no matter what, create it special! ❤️

Life...

Life.

One thing 

That I learned about it

Is...

 That it goes on.

It doesn't wait for you to catch your breath--

Or mend your broken heart, 

It
Just 

Keeps 

Moving 

Foward.

So why sit back in despair 

And ponder on what could have been 

When reality says,

 "Let it be." 

Mine as well move right along with it... 

I mean after all, 

You will catch your breath, 

Your heart will brighten...  

And 

Love---

Love will find you again...

Love Conquers All

There are a lot of people in this world 

Who chitter-chat about other people's relationship drama--

As if they have none of their own...
I must say,

It's annoying and uncomfortable to hear, 

I mean after all...

Who's to say who you can love? 

What's wrong for one 

May be what's right for another.... 

It's through love 

That you truly learn about yourself. 

So what's wrong for one

May actually be what's right for another.. 

When the heart wants what it wants, 

Let it beat. 

Live what love is supposed to be...

Heartbreak

 

There were long, steep, windy hills.

Refreshing dew from the previous night's teardrops.

Soothing aroma from burning fire wood.

Smiling faces, aching faces, determined faces.

And then... There it was. 

An oddly-shaped, heart.

Beauty exists in our deepest wounds...

When you pull from deep within 
There's a burning hope, 
Pushing you to just. keep. going.

"Don't stop. It's coming!"

Love never leaves you. 

Nor does it ruin you. 

Although it may suffer you,

Just know, 
It's only for a moment.

Hold on tight to your dignity. 

Something spectacular is ready to birth. 

.....3, 2,1.

The new you has arrived.

Take a bow.
